Hello everyone. This is a new and hopefully exciting addition to the information highway. This blog is the brain child of a group of Maud Texas citizens to bring the facts of issues to the citizens of Maud.
If you follow Facebook in the area of Maud you may have noticed post's that support one side of an issue or the other. Inaccurate information is frequently posted as fact. This blog will not knowingly post anything as fact without first checking our sources. We may not be on the breaking edge of a story but we will post the facts as we verify them. Our goal is to present the facts and only the facts. We may post satire but we will inform or readers that it is satire. We will strive to gain you trust that this is the place to go for the facts. We will be posting political issues, school issues, fire department issues, library issues and anything else we deem important to the citizens of Maud. We realize rumors run rampant in a small town therefore if you want a rumor checked out please email us and put rumor in the subject line. We will do our best to get the facts. We can't promise we will put every rumor to rest but we will do our best. We realize this is a new venue and hope you will enjoy it.
